This muscle car could run a quarter of a mile in just 14 seconds. Costing at $4000 the car had a 6.3-litre engine and 335bhp.

Dodge Charger

The dodge charger has to be one of the most famous muscle cars ever. It featured in The Dukes of Hazzard, being bright orange and having a confederate flag on the roof. It was launched in 1966 and was influenced by the Mustang style, showing its popularity by selling over 37,000 in its first year.

Chevrolet Camaro

“A small, vicious animal that eats Mustangs”, thats how Chevrolet described its Camaro. Chevrolet was in big competition with Ford and had to watch the success of the Mustang. So in 1967 decided to bring out the Camaro and claimed that it was named after a French slang word, meaning Friend. Ford’s response was it meant a type of shrimp, unfortunatly for Chevrolet the Mustang is still the fastest selling sports car in history but theres no denying that the Camaro was massivly popular.
